Alessi Brothers  - We also performed in New York at The Downtown in Farmingdale on December 3rd 2004, and we also performed at the Cutting Room in NYC in November. We had the pleasure of having the beautiful sisters, Amy and Elaine Goff help us with the harmonies. They have sung on countless commercials and records and you might have seen them if you ever caught a Meatloaf concert.

Playbill:  In February 2005, a workshop of Scott Wise's The Game — produced by Avenue Q's Vicki Halmos and Sonny Everett — will be presented in Manhattan. Tony Award winner Wise, who is both a star and the assistant director-choreographer of Movin' Out, says his show concerns "a man's life, from conception to death, and how fear is such a factor in moving us forward and evolving." The Game, which will require its dancers to sing, features a score by Wise, Tommy Byrnes, Chuck Burghi and Amy and Elaine Goff.

Boney M - Amy & Elaine Goff did backing vocals on 10.000 Lightyears, Dizzy, Kalimba De Luna, My Cherie Amour, Dreadlock Holiday, Bang Bang Lulu, and the 6 new Christmas recordings, The First Noel & Oh Christmas Tree. Furthermore they did backing vocals on Bobby's solo track King Of Dancing.Lead.

Kissfaq Peppi and Bob did have one further interesting side note co-writing "Naked City" with Gene Simmons for the Unmasked album. Bob, Peppi, and Meatloaf singer Karla DeVito, would demo the track with Gene at Electric Lady Studios in early 1980.

In 1984 Bob returned to the Meatloaf fold for the "Bad Attitude" (Arista 53152) album, which only featured two Jim Steinman songs. Touring as Meatloaf and the Neverland Express. Produced by MeatLoaf, Paul Jacobs & Mack. By 1987 Meat Loaf's recovering popularity in Europe allowed the release of a live album when two shows at Wembley Stadium in London on March 1st and 2nd were recorded. The album, arranged by MeatLoaf, Steve Buslowe, Bob Kulick, was produced by Tom Edmonds and MeatLoaf with the band's lineup consisting of MeatLoaf, Chuck Burgi (drums), Steve Buslowe, Frank Doyle (keyboards), Amy Goff, Elaine Goff, Paul Jacobs, Bob Kulick, Alan Merrill (guitar and vocals).

Bob Kulick, has performed as KISS' session player from the late 70's to early 80's appearing on albums such as; KISS Alive II, Paul Stanley Solo Album and KISS Killers . He has also supplied his talents to recordings from W.A.S.P. Bob has also recently won a Grammy award as a producer for his work on Motorhead's "Whiplash".

Rockfever.com  A five year association with Meat Loaf was to follow Joe Lynn Turner, and during this time Chuck recorded an album with his own group Skull, recorded the W.W.F. Wrestling Album, did five world tours with Meat Loaf and recorded the Meat Loaf Live at Wembley album.

When Meat Loaf officially stopped touring to begin the arduous task of recording his follow-up album to Bat Out of Hell, Chuck was immediately recruited by his old friends Blue Oyster Cult, and a four year stint of recording and performing with them began.

Doreen is a British singer. Doreen started as a member of a group called the Chanters in 1967 with her sister Irene Chanter and her five brothers, releasing 4 singles which failed to chart. In 1968, the Canter sisters became a duo initially known as "Birds of a Feather".

The duo released 4 singles between 1967 and 1972 but none of them achieved chart success. Their first album was Birds of a Feather released in 1970 and featured Elton John playing piano. The Chanter sisters had appeared as backing singers for Elton John in a Radio 1 session.

Long John Baldry asked the sisters to join his live band in 1973. They also featured on June 1, 1974 a live album featuring Nico, Brian Eno, Kevin Ayers and John Cale and appeared on a Chris Farlowe album BBC Radio 1 Live in Concert.

In 1976, Polydor released their second album First Flight although it failed to make any lasting impression. They sang live with John Miles and appeared on a live album. The sisters released two albums in 1978 through Safari Records which failed to chart.

In 1981, Chanter was part of a chorus that sang at The Secret Policeman's Ball with other chorus members including Phil Collins, Donovan, Sheena Easton, Bob Geldof, Midge Ure and Tom Robinson. She also wrote two singles for Kiki Dee released in 1981 and a song sung by Dee for the British television series Roll Over Beethoven in 1985.

Chanter was part of the touring bands for both Roger Waters and Van Morrison in 1984. She had sung on Waters album The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking released in that year. She was also part of his live band on the Radio KAOS tour in 1997 and appeared on his Amused to Death album in 1992.

She also toured  as part of Joe Cocker's touring band in 1989. Chanter featured on Cocker's live album Live released in 1990.

During the 1990s, Chanter appeared on several albums with Chris Farlowe and on a John Cale album Seducing Down the Door released in 1994.

The Turtles - Joe Stefko

Joe walked off the stage in London and into a loft in Manhattan to audition for Meat Loaf, becoming his drummer during the Bat Out Of Hell blitz that lasted for three years. "It was funny because Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman literally auditioned about six hundred musicians. I don't know if they knew what they were hearing anymore but they had read about my leaving Cale in Rolling Stone Magazine and were impressed. I never did thank John for that."

Joe Stefko Interview

Does this mean you are a dramatic flurrying percussionist when people just want a timekeeper?

Being influenced by BJ, Aynsley Dunbar, and Roy Wood (yes, Roy Wood!) at an early age warps your sensibilities. You hear things differently than most people and you play the unexpected, to say the least. It's foreign and retarded to those who hear normally. It worked in Meat Loaf, which was a very dramatic show, and John Cale, with whom I worked with Chris Thomas, and I manage to make it work with The Turtles, who are used to retarded drummers, but it's sometimes tough communicating. BJ, he was the best. A real classic. As I told his sister - you can't copy BJ, you take a piece of him and incorporate it with what you've got. That's the best you're going to do.

Oct 29th 1984 - At about 8.30 that morning as I was about to begin the days work building a new desk outside my home, the phone rang. It was a very good friend of mine calling me to tell me that Wells Kelly had died in England the night before, As my friend was a chronic practical joker I thought he was kidding, putting me on.  But he wasn't. Wells had been on tour with Meat Loaf and on a night off, there was a big party in London. Never particularly known for moderation, Wells had ingested too much of too many things and fell victim of it.

We were all stunned, shocked and sad about this tragedy. To everyone who knew him, the loss of Wells hurt badly and it hit home. What a waste! Here was a fellow musician, friend, father and husband. He was 34 vital, handsome, funny, fabulously talented.. But that night he simply made some terrible choices and went over the line, it could of happened to any of us.
