BIO

BORN 29TH MAY 1961 - LONG ISLAND
John has been with Meat Loaf since 1993 on a permanent basis although he filled in for Chuck Burgi for a while in 1991. John has a great sense of humour & he's totally down to earth. He's also one of the nicest members of the band.........
John has also toured with tons of other artists including Blue Oyster Cult, Rainbow, Marchello......
John has just finished as the drummer in the Las Vegas Production of "We Will Rock You" Alongside Patti Russo & Paul Crook. The show closed on the 27th Nov 2005. He is now working in the studio with Meat Loaf on the new Bat 3 album, due for release in Sept 2006.
Apart from all this John's taught at the Long Island drum & guitar centre & he's also published two books which feature his unique double bass style, "Lead Switch" & "Sticking in the Foot"
John's musical accomplishments have been recognized by the industry with endorsements from "Sonor Drums", "Zildjian Cymbals", "Gilbralter Hardware", "Evans Drumheads" and "Vic Firth Drum Sticks".
John has also featured in an international print ad campaign for "Sony cassette tapes", which appeared in "Rolling Stone", "People", "Spin Circus" and US magazines
John is also married & the proud Papa of two children.......

John joined Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow in 1997 when Chuck Burgi left to join Enrique Iglesias. John toured with them on The "Stranger In Us All" US and European Tour in 1997. John performed along with Buck Dharma at the 1997 Ricky Browning benefit concert in Atlanta.

John joined Blue Oyster Cult in 1992 as a temporary fill in for Chuck Burgi (who John was later to replace in Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow) John played alongside Danni Miranda. John and Danni have played in a few bands together since. John toured with BOC on their 20th Anniversary National Tour. John also performed with BOC guitarist Buck Dharma's side project "The Buck Dharma Band" Kasim Sulton was offered a place in BOC but turned it down due to other commitments.
