MEET AND GREET

Tonight I had my Meet And Greet with Meat. (that's a mouth full isn't it lol) After the show we had to go and wait in some seats to be taken backstage. While we were there we had the pleasure of meting the Hartlepool monkey - unbared! (I was going to get a pic of him for a before and after shot, but unfortunately we got taken to separate rooms before I had the chance.) Got to meet Dawn and Steven as well:-) They were the 2 fans from the OIFC, Myself and Lucy were the 2 from the MLUKFC. When it was time to go backstage, we got taken to a room. It had a window in it and Lucy spent most of the time looking out of it lol. Dawn showed us all a tattoo of meat she has on her leg, It's unbelievable! She said she waned to show Meat it:-)

Finally Meat came in. Think he said Hi Dear to me and how are you, but really can't remember lol, its all a big blur. What I do remember very clearly though was that Lucy had her back to him, while she was looking out of the window. "Oh don't worry she's just having a breakdown, you have that effect on her lol. " I'll leave Lucy to tell the rest of her story
 Lucy finally turned around lol and came and sat with us at a table that Meat had already sat at. I got to show him a pic I had taken back in 98 or 99 at The McCoist and McCauley show in Birmingham (theres pix on my website of this show). I asked him if he knew where it was taken and he went on to tell us about the pic:-) He said it was at a tv recording and before the show he got to have a game of bowls with some champion or other, Meat remembered everything as if it happened only yesterday... (that's how it went isn't it Lucy and Steven? lolol )Then he asked if he could look at my tour book, think he was looking for the new pix, but my tour book was one I'd brought a the 1st show at the NEC lol. So think he got a bit confused. Lucy then went on to tell him off lol. He looked very worried for a while! Then he asked if we had anything we wanted signed. We all got the things out we had. Meat went off to get a "Sharpie" When he came back he signed our stuff. Don't think he was to impressed with Dawns cd lol, he said it wasn't put out by him. He said he'd never put anything out with art work like that! I got my tour book signed on the page that has me on it Finally Meat asked us if we wanted pix, here's some that were taken. When it got to Dawns turn I asked her if there was something she wanted to show Meat!! (sorry Dawn lol)  So to Meats amazement, Dawn undid her trousers and showed him the tattoo, I think his reply was, Ahh Ozzy!!! . All to soon Meats tour manager came in and said it was time for Meat to go.

Luckily after Meat had gone, I went over to the window and who should be outside it, just about to get on the bus, but the very wonderful Kasim Sulton:-) I managed to get his attention as I couldn't just let him go without saying hello lol. He turned around, gave me that huge smile of his and pointed saying he was coming in:-D, when he got there I got a great big hug and a kiss., plus a "Hi momma" he also told me how big I was getting lol.

He chatted to us and signed my CHSIB cd, my tour book and his own cd, which for those of you that don't know is Quid Pro Quo He wrote some very lovely things on all 3 of them and he majorly made my night, even yr!!! Sadly someone came in and said he had to go, I told her we didn't mind if she left him there with us, but she took him anyway lol. So Kasim and Meat if you read this, thank you both so very much

If Kasim gets his way I may end up with a baby called Tequila lol..

LUCY'S REVIEW OF THE MEET AND GREET

Hi!!!

Don't know what to say really! It was Meat!! Thankfully he chatted to Deb first which gave me a few moments to process the thought that I was sat at a table opposite God lol

First thing I did?! I told him off! Dunno about anyone else but that bit at the beginning of the show where he "dies" really upset me! I couldn't watch it! So I told him off, but the whole time he just sat and stared straight at my eyes so I kept having to wake myself up! But you'll be pleased to know that he did reassure me that he's not dead!

Then we got onto signing things, I asked him to sign an album for Alex ( Amadiere ) and the picture that Meat took of the two of us back in April. Dawn had an album with her which got us onto the subject of album covers, and I told Meat that i'd painted the CHSIB cover down my wardrobe door. Struggling with my accent, Meat thought I'd said Wardrobe Doll, so I showed him a pic that was saved on my digital, and learned how to say Door properly ( the Texan way!!! )

Then it was time for pics!! I took one of Deb and Meat but I so didn't want to mess it up that I managed to get it wrong! Got there eventually though! Meat posed for pics with everyone, I approached him and presumed to put my arm round him, but he flung both arms round my waist and said something along the lines of "She works better if we do it like this!" I'm not gonna argue with that, Meat!!

Then it was time to go. Steven asked if he could shake Meat's hand so I asked for a hug lol Which I got, along with a very nice kiss on the cheek, then he was gone, gone gone!

Just about to leave and Deb spotted Kasim outside. Kas came in and what a sweetheart! And so gorgeous! Stood for a pic with him, and he did just the same as Meat, putting both arms round my waist! Enough to send a girl crazy!!!
