This was the first of the three concerts at the NEC. It was also our first with out my daughter Sam. We swapped her for Sarah tonight.
The support band were as usual Picture House They were as good as every other show ~ I'd even say that get better all the time..... This was the first seating show of the tour ~ hence know one stood up for picture house. Me & Laura did though LOL... It was pretty embarrassing but when you've seen that many shows & grown to love their set its hard to not be able to get up... Imagine having to sit all the way through a Meat show!!!!!
The rest of the show up until the acoustic set was pretty much the same... Apart from the fact that the curtain got stuck at the beginning of "Paradise"

After Paradise the band came down to the front to
take a bow..... They then all left the stage (apart from Meat)
The usual thing happened with the beginning of the acoustic set ~ Meat sat down then got Charlie to bring on his guitar. Then introduced the band one by one....
"Midnight At the Lost and Found" was the first of the set tonight, followed by "Honky Tonk Woman" with various members of the band singing solo parts ~ with Kasim starting it off.
"1999" was next ~ this is a really great version ~ especially as Tom begins the singing....
Next came "Two Outta Three Ain't Bad" followed by "Mercedes Benz" sang by Pearl. Then lastly "You Took the Words Right Outta My Mouth"
After everything was back in its place after the acoustic set the rest of the band came back out on stage & took their places to perform the excellent "Bat Out of Hell"
