On Sunday the 21st feb '99 Meat & The Neverland Express recorded a radio show for BBC2 in the uk for "The comic relief charity"

We were front row right in front of Meat... They recorded two hours but only one hour is going to be broadcast which is a shame. I really wish it was going out on TV instead of radio as there were so many great moments...

They have a great beginning for Lemon now !!!!! Lets see if I can remember this right LOL... John, Patti, Pearl, Tom & Ray were playing drums to the intro...  They all seemed to really enjoy it... It was sooooo goooooooooddd. Patti's was a big bass drum (I think) Kas & Damon played guitar here..

My fav of the show was when they were doing some acoustic songs & Meat was getting the band to bring up some stools. Pearl & Patti sat with him on the bench, Kas & Damon got some stools & sat at the front. Ray & Tom couldn't leave the keyboards. Which was a shame as they were a bit to far back to see properly:-( . The best bit of this was when they started playing & Meat stopped them & turned to John & said that he wasn't playing acoustic!!!! he then got him too come down the front too. Meat then gave him a tambourine & made him sit on a stool at the front playing ~ it was sooooooo goood!!! He is really funny!!! I got loads of pix of this.   It was really great to see him not hiding behind the drums ~ just hope they make it a regular part of the show...

My only disappointment was that Meat didn't get around to introducing Kasim... Not sure what happened but he left him out:-(

There was also a part of the show where the audience were allowed to ask Meat questions. They were all really good & Meat answered most of them well... Someone even managed to get to tell Meat that Anne runs the UK fan club ... which I thought was really nice.. he even replied with her name..

             My daughter was right in front of Meat (she's 10) After he had swore he looked to the audience & said oh no there's kids here ~ to which he then asked her her name, she replied in a very embarrassed voice Sam. At first he said Pam? so she said no Sam. He told her she didn't have to call him Meat Loaf but she could cal him Meat. He then e told her not to take any of this home with her but it was ok at school to tell her friends what Meat had said LOL... He then spoke to her a few times through the show another being when he swore at the end of paradise. This was the reference to a blow job!!!! He told her it meant blowing up balloons for daddy's birthday.......  Lastly when he asked for any requests. He asked the audience what they wanted him to play next then he said "What was that Sam You want me to play what? You took the words? Ok Sam that's a great choice, I'll play that ...  . She saw him later on in the evening & said thank you to her for being such a good sport..
